001 — Brand Positioning

Minimal / Happy / Polished

Shannon started Inhabt as a personal project, a way to find peace during the stillness of the pandemic. Her ceramic pieces quickly found an audience, not just for how they looked, but for how they made people feel. The brand was built around a simple belief: it’s not enough to have a house, you should build yourself a home. We translated this into a position that felt calm, curated, and quietly joyful.

Inhabt’s visual identity balanced colour and restraint. We illustrated ceramic forms by hand—some from Shannon’s own designs, some imagined—and framed them in gentle palettes that let the pieces breathe. A handwritten logotype grounded the brand in her personal touch. Every detail was considered, including how her logo could translate into a ceramic stamp: tactile, present, enduring.

We created packaging, business cards, and flexible brand labels designed to feel handmade without being rustic. The guidelines were carefully crafted to help Shannon use her assets with ease: a clear visual system that left space for joy. Whether on a kiln-fired label or a social media post, her pieces remained the centre of attention.

Final note: For over a year, Inhabt was a thriving business, but when Shannon became a mother, she made the choice to close the shop and focus on raising her daughter. We loved working on this brand, and we love that she chose something even more importantt to take care of.

"The process was extremely helpful and gave me a clear understanding of how the team translated our conversations into the design. It's the first time I have been part of a process like this and I fully trust Nina in the direction presented."
